A large-scale drug awareness effort in Italy has gone beyond over one million educational anti-drug booklets distributed in the past month. The initiative forms part of the Truth About Drugs campaign, which aims to provide factual education about commonly abused substances and their impact on health and society.
Approximately 500 volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing Drug prevention materials in schools, businesses and urban centres. The campaign focuses on helping young people make informed decisions, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a understandable way.
The initiative forms part of Scientology-supported social betterment activities, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. The complete report on the initiative can be found here: Italy’s Drug Prevention Campaign Surpasses One Million Booklets Distributed in One Month.
